In addition to the visit of the botanical route of the village center which is in free access all weekend, Sunday 4 June afternoon, it is proposed to you, under the guidance of a guide lecturer, to go to the discovery of the wild orchids of Haute-Marne on the listed sites of the municipality. Indeed, the village of Doulaincourt-Saucourt is known to specialists for the quality of the colonies of orchids that populate the glades of its forest. Come and discover them.
15h00 to 18h00: guided and commented hike to discover the wild orchids of Doulaincourt-Saucourt. Rendezvous in town hall.
18h00: conference in town hall on orchids of Haute-Marne.
19h00: opening of the photo exhibition, which will be possible to visit throughout the following week.

The municipality of Doulaincourt-Saucourt has been involved for three years in the enhancement of its natural heritage. In order to enrich it, the municipal team proceeded with the greening of the village center to transform the village into a "garden village". An educational botanical trail of discovery of perennial plants has even been created with five themed spaces distributed in the village center. These spaces, created by volunteers or professionals, bring together more than 150 species identified and presented to the public using paper and computer teaching materials. Gardens of shade, light, grasses, rockery and trip to the water’s edge are proposed to you.
