Guided tour of the park of the Abbey of Septfontaines & animation around the elaboration of a floral water
The Abbey of Septfontaines opens its doors for a commented visit that will lead you from the monumental portal to the old chapel, then towards the courtyard of honor and will invite your imagination to project itself into the different configurations that the park of the abbey experienced through the different eras that it has crossed. The visit will be followed by an animation around the elaboration of a floral water, by Sarah Bernhard-Papin of the soap factory Gabrasrosa Upper Marne, which will explain how to obtain the floral water and tell you its possible uses. Where the sweet "glouglou" of the still meets the scents of the garden is born hydrolat, aromatic water obtained after distillation of flowers or leaves and with multiple virtues and uses... The result of the distillation can be collected during lunch time. Participants are invited to bring a small container that will allow them to leave with the hydrolat.
Snack bar and small restaurant on site.
At the Abbey of Septfontaines, the day of June 3 will be punctuated with various activities, accessible either separately or in formula.
