Parc du Cavé
Place de la Grève, 52300 Joinville
Public park installed on an "island" between Marne and Bief, on the immediate edge of the historic center of Joinville. It has a simple and romantic plant composition organized around a dovecote. The complex was restored and reopened to the public in 2015, after three decades of closure.
The walk consists of a small pedestrian loop that connects the footbridge to the dovecote. From the park, it is possible to continue the walk to the north towards the old town and the picturesque quay of Peceaux. From the dovecote a ascending path is also possible towards the station.
