Several elements of the heritage will be to be discovered on the theme of the Revolution. Starting from the Place de la Mairie, the walking public will be able to discover the crypt of Preslots, go down the stairs that lead to the «Fontaine au trou», continue Rue de Fleury to reach the church of Nogent-le-bas where the visits will be commented, with possibility to see the bell tower and collection procession sticks. Vannage will tell its story with the company Vitry Frères. After a walk along the Traire, walkers will be invited to go up the Brèche trail, visit the prisons and the porch of the Justice de Paix before tasting a well deserved break place Minel where the association of the Old shops of Nogentais will offer a refreshment bar. For non walkers, a second option will be possible to get to the church of Nogent-le-Bas thanks to regular shuttles from the bus stop in front of the town hall. _
In addition, the Cutlery Museum will be open from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm. Free entrance. Creative workshop around a Liberty tree in front of the museum. _

Place Charles de Gaulle is the main square of the city of Nogent.
Nogent Town Hall was built in the first half of the 19th century. The central part, has semicircular openings on the ground floor and rectangular on the first floor. It is surmounted by a belfry that sounded the hours and could give the alarm. On both sides, two side wings offered markets for the market held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in this square. The starting signal of this one was given by the bell, under the roof, to the left of the Town Hall. The cutlers-peasants came there to sell the surplus of their agricultural production.
The halls have been transformed. The left side is occupied by the association NOHMAD (former Tourist Office) with presentations of contemporary production of the Nogent basin. The right-hand side houses the city’s administrative services.
