Historical presentation of the use of marbled paper, its journey and its motifs. Zeynep Uysal will explain this technique that entered the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century via the Silk Road, and took the name of Ebru, Persian word that means clouds, then reached Europe in the seventeenth century to be used massively in the decoration of pages of cover of books.
