Built in 1631 by the famous architect François Mansart, the castle of Balleroy trains(forms) with the village, one of the foregrounds of town planning which inspired other castles, of that Versailles. In 1970, Malcom S. Forbes, possessing an important American group of press, acquired the castle which was then restored and remeublé. In one of the dependences(outbuildings), Malcom S. Forbes created the first international museum of balls(balloons), redrawing the epic poem of the gas balls(balloons) and in hot air, the brothers Montgolfier in our days. You will be able also to stroll(hang out) in the English-style romantic park and the French-style gardens realised by Henry Duchêne in XIX ème century, according to plans of André Le Nôtre. Finally, the shop and the tearoom will decorate your visit.
