Free visit of the 13th century church. Photo exhibition.
The church of Saint-Ouen has the shape of a Latin cross. Its vessel is 40 meters long. The first floor of the tower, which stands at the crossroads of the transepts, is of the thirteenth century, the second is of the fourteenth century and the third floor of the fifteenth century. The complex is covered by an octagonal and pointed roof. The portal, framed by two turrets each bearing a bell, is pure Romanesque style, as is the nave. The nave (interior and exterior) has a decoration of arches veneered quite unusual in Normandy, which can only be found in the church of Saint-Martin de Colombelles. A victim of both the Reformation and the battles of 1944, the church suffered extensive damage and was the subject of numerous renovations.
