Between Bayeux and Saint-Lô, the state forest of Cerisy, with its 2130 ha, is the largest forest nature reserve of plain. This beech grove has been classified because of the presence of a unique species of beetle: the golden carabus with coppery reflections.

It will be an opportunity for them to discover through a visit/ workshop of about 2h the forest environments, the flora of the forest with an identification of tree species, their growth and development, but also the fauna where it will be necessary to listen to the sounds and noises of the animals.
