Das in den 1970er-Jahren auf dem Hügel von Fourchon erbaute Hôpital Joseph Imbert verdeutlicht die Entwicklung der großen öffentlichen Gesundheitseinrichtungen und die funktionale Architektur seiner Zeit. Betonvolumen, rationelle Raumgestaltung und Einschreibung in die Landschaft von Arles machen es zu einem Zeugnis der Stadtplanung des 20. Jahrhunderts.

Built in the 1970s on the hill of Fourchon, the Joseph Imbert Hospital illustrates the rise of large public health facilities and functional architecture of its time. Concrete volumes, rational organization of spaces and inscription in the Arles landscape make it a witness to the development of the city of the 20th century.
