The permanent exhibition at La Cité du Vin
Embark on a journey through the essence of grapevines and wine at La Cité du Vin, where a permanent exhibition unfolds across 3,000 square meters, organized into six main themes and divided into 18 distinct spaces. This exhibition invites you on a voyage through time, from antiquity to the present day, and across all five continents.
Immerse yourself in a cultural legacy that has shaped humanity and its civilizations, influencing their way of life and the design of their environment for thousands of years. The exhibition offers a variety of activities ranging from interactive to educational, with immersive and sensory experiences that will transport you into a waking dream.
Explore the exhibition at your own pace, selecting your path based on your personal interests. There is no prescribed route to follow - let your preferences guide you! Although the average visit lasts between 2 to 3 hours, the most enthusiastic visitors can immerse themselves for an entire day, with a wealth of additional information at their disposal.
For those pressed for time, a condensed one-hour tour is available, focused on a specific theme.
To conclude your experience, the visit ends at the Belvedere, where you are offered a tasting of wine selected from a range of vineyards around the globe.
