This workshop is offered as part of the exhibition Art that moves: 50 Years of the Grenoble's Artothèque, on display from 3 October 2026 to 27 March 2027 at the Heritage and Research Library.
Founded in 1976, the Grenoble's Artothèque is the first Artothèque in France to celebrate its 50th anniversary. To mark this milestone, the Heritage and Research Library presents a retrospective exhibition showcasing some of the finest works from its collection, featuring both prints and photography. Art on the Move: 50 Years of the Grenoble's Artothèque also offers the opportunity to discover the history of this public service and the initiatives carried out every day to make contemporary art accessible to all.
To celebrate its anniversary, the Art Library welcomes Mabeye Deme. Between Dakar and Grenoble, the artist uses photography as a starting point for encounters, exchange and creation. During this workshop, discover his artistic approach and experiment with it yourself.
