Das PhotoBrussels Festival veranstaltet vom 21. Januar bis zum 21. Februar 2027 seine 11. Ausgabe in Brüssel. Das Festival wurde 2016 von Hangar ins Leben gerufen und ist in das europäische Netzwerk European Month of Photography integriert. Es gilt als ein wichtiger Termin. Einen Monat lang treffen sich internationale Künstler, Fachleute und Publikum in einem reichen und vielfältigen Programm mit Ausstellungen, Konferenzen, Begegnungen und Workshops an zahlreichen Orten in Brüssel.
Diese Ausgabe beleuchtet auch das Zweihundertjähriges Jubiläum der Fotografie durch ein Thema, das den teilnehmenden Orten als leitender Faden des Programms vorgeschlagen wird. Ohne aufgezwungen zu werden, inspiriert sie mehrere Ansätze: historische Fotografie, Reflexion über das Medium und seine 200-jährige Geschichte, Entwicklung der Praktiken, zeitgenössische Experimente und zukunftsorientierte Visionen. Eine "Zweihundertjahrfeier"-Tour durchläuft das Festival und lädt die Besucher ein, im Laufe der Ausstellungen die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten zu entdecken, auf denen Künstler das Erbe und die Zukunft der Fotografie hinterfragen, während sie die Stadt Brüssel durch ihre kulturellen und künstlerischen Räume erkunden.

The PhotoBrussels Festival will be held in Brussels for its 11th edition, from 21 January to 21 February 2027. Launched in 2016 by Hangar and integrated into the European network European Month of Photography, the festival stands out as a major event. For one month, artists, professionals and international audiences meet through a rich and plural program combining exhibitions, conferences, meetings and workshops, deployed in many places in Brussels.
This edition also highlights the Bicentenary of Photography through a theme offered to participating venues as a common thread in the programming. Without being imposed, it inspires multiple approaches: historical photography, reflection on the medium and its 200 years of history, evolution of practices, contemporary experiments and prospective visions. A "Bicentenary" route runs through the festival and invites visitors to discover, throughout the exhibitions, the many ways in which artists question the heritage and future of photography, while exploring the city of Brussels through its cultural and artistic spaces.

PhotoBrussels Festival anima Bruxelles in occasione della sua 11a edizione, dal 21 gennaio al 21 febbraio 2027. Lanciato nel 2016 da Hangar e integrato nella rete europea European Month of Photography, il festival si impone come un appuntamento importante. Per un mese, artisti, professionisti e pubblico internazionale si ritrovano attraverso una programmazione ricca e variegata che unisce mostre, conferenze, incontri e workshop, distribuiti in numerosi luoghi a Bruxelles.
Questa edizione mette in luce anche il Bicentenario della Fotografia attraverso una tematica proposta ai luoghi partecipanti come filo conduttore della programmazione. Senza essere imposta, essa ispira molteplici approcci: fotografia storica, riflessione sul mezzo e sui suoi 200 anni di storia, evoluzione delle pratiche, sperimentazioni contemporanee e visioni prospettiche. Un percorso "Bicentenario" attraversa il festival e invita i visitatori a scoprire, attraverso le mostre, i molteplici modi in cui gli artisti interrogano l'eredità e il futuro della fotografia, mentre esplorano la città di Bruxelles attraverso i suoi spazi culturali e artistici.

PhotoBrussels Festival anime Bruxelles à l’occasion de sa 11e édition, du 21 janvier au 21 février 2027. Lancé en 2016 par Hangar et intégré au réseau européen European Month of Photography, le festival s’impose comme un rendez-vous majeur. Pendant un mois, artistes, professionnels et publics internationaux se retrouvent à travers une programmation riche et plurielle mêlant expositions, conférences, rencontres et ateliers, déployée dans de nombreux lieux à Bruxelles.
Cette édition met également en lumière le Bicentenaire de la Photographie à travers une thématique proposée aux lieux participants comme fil conducteur de la programmation. Sans être imposée, celle-ci inspire de multiples approches : photographie historique, réflexion sur le médium et ses 200 ans d’histoire, évolution des pratiques, expérimentations contemporaines et visions prospectives. Un parcours “Bicentenaire” traverse ainsi le festival et invite les visiteurs à découvrir, au fil des expositions, les multiples façons dont les artistes interrogent l’héritage et l’avenir de la photographie, tout en explorant la ville de Bruxelles à travers ses espaces culturels et artistiques.

PhotoBrussels Festival anima a Bruselas en su 11a edición, del 21 de enero al 21 de febrero de 2027. Lanzado en 2016 por Hangar e integrado a la red europea European Month of Photography, el festival se impone como una cita importante. Durante un mes, artistas, profesionales y públicos internacionales se reúnen a través de una programación rica y plural que combina exposiciones, conferencias, encuentros y talleres, desplegados en numerosos lugares de Bruselas.
Esta edición también destaca el Bicentenario de la Fotografía a través de una temática propuesta a los lugares participantes como hilo conductor de la programación. Sin ser impuesta, ésta inspira múltiples enfoques: fotografía histórica, reflexión sobre el medio y sus 200 años de historia, evolución de las prácticas, experimentaciones contemporáneas y visiones prospectivas. Un recorrido "Bicentenario" recorre el festival e invita a los visitantes a descubrir, a lo largo de las exposiciones, las múltiples formas en que los artistas cuestionan el patrimonio y el futuro de la fotografía, mientras exploran la ciudad de Bruselas a través de sus espacios culturales y artísticos.
