Dana streift durch die Natur, sie wandert umher und findet das, was für sie ein empfindliches Echo ist. Sie betrachtet die Landschaft als sowohl vertraut als auch seltsam. Was dann zu passieren scheint, ist der Versuch, sich um ein Geheimnis zu drehen, sich ihm zu nähern... wie in einer Art geheimer Zeremonie. In ihrer Arbeit nach Serien erkennt man die Bedeutung, die sie der Erzählung beimisst, dem Erzählen von Geschichten. Sie bietet uns eine traumhafte Weltanschauung, eine verschobene Vision, die die Entwicklung der Vorstellungskraft fördert und auch die Metamorphose der Landschaften enthüllt. Sie schlägt uns einen Übergang zwischen dem realen und dem mentalen Raum vor, als eine Einladung, ihren Schritten zu folgen.

Dana wanders in nature, wandering, and finding what makes for a sensitive echo. She approaches the landscape as both familiar and strange. What seems to be happening then is the attempt to circle around a mystery, to approach it... as in a kind of secret ceremony. In her work by series, we can see the importance she places on storytelling. It offers us a dreamlike conception of the world, an off-beat vision, favoring the development of imagination, also revealing the metamorphosis of landscapes. She offers us a passage between the real space and the mental space, like an invitation to follow her steps.

Dana si aggira nella natura, vaga e trova ciò che per lei è un'eco sensibile. Affronta il paesaggio come se fosse allo stesso tempo familiare e strano. Quello che sembra accadere è il tentativo di girare intorno a un mistero, di avvicinarsi ad esso... come in una sorta di cerimonia segreta. Nel suo lavoro per serie, si percepisce l'importanza che attribuisce alla narrazione, al fatto di raccontare storie. Ci offre una concezione onirica del mondo, una visione dislocata, che favorisce lo sviluppo dell'immaginario e svela anche la metamorfosi dei paesaggi. Ci propone un passaggio tra lo spazio reale e lo spazio mentale, come un invito a seguire i suoi passi.

Ce qui semble se passer alors, c’est la tentative de tourner autour d’un mystère, de s’en approcher… comme dans une sorte de cérémonie secrète. Dans son travail par séries, on perçoit l’importance qu’elle accorde au récit, au fait de raconter des histoires. Elle nous offre une conception onirique du monde, une vision décalée, favorisant le développement de l’imaginaire, dévoilant aussi la métamorphose des paysages. Elle nous propose un passage entre l'espace réel et l'espace mental, telle une invitation à suivre ses pas.
