6TH EDITION
Une Année en Images is a major photography awareness program deployed throughout the school year in primary, secondary and high schools of the academies of Nice and Aix-Marseille. With five years of existence, the project has already supported more than 3,000 young people and 250 teachers in 40 cities.
Between October and May, about twenty classes benefit from the intervention and expertise of a professional photographer. During six practical workshops dedicated to shooting and critical reading, students explore photographic practice. For this edition, the creative work will focus on the concepts of Borders: spaces of sharing (allows us to address the question of physical, moral, psychological, societal boundaries, etc.) and the flow of time (allows us to address the history of photography, and the relationship that photography maintains with time).
A true journey of initiation and sharing, this experience continues outside the classroom: at the end of the workshops, each student receives a printed booklet containing a selection of photographic productions made by their class, thus allowing to enhance their vision and their creations with their loved ones.
