Um die Gedenkfeiern zum zweihundertjährigen Jubiläum der Fotografie in den Yvelines zu eröffnen, installiert der Fotograf Clément Marion seine "Afghan Box" und lädt alle ein, die möchten, die Zeit für eine Porträtaufnahme einzuplanen. Jeder geht mit seinem eigenen silbernen Druck zurück, der vor Ort dank dieser erstaunlichen Fotokammer-Labor aus dem 19. Jahrhundert angefertigt wurde.
Mit den ältesten fotografischen Techniken und einer sehr zeitgenössischen Interpretation schlägt der Künstler die Brücke zwischen der Welt der Fotoarchive und den Gesichtern und Landschaften von heute.

Workshop to discover photographic techniques related to the funds and collections of the Departmental Archives of Yvelines.

To inaugurate the commemorations of the bicentenary of photography in the Yvelines, the photographer Clément Marion installs his "Afghan Box" and invites all those who wish to come to pose for a portrait. Everyone leaves with their own film print, made on site thanks to this astonishing photographic room-laboratory inherited from the 19th century.
Using the oldest photographic techniques with a very contemporary interpretation, the artist thus bridges the gap between the world of photographic archives and today’s faces and landscapes.

Per inaugurare le commemorazioni del bicentenario della fotografia negli Yvelines, il fotografo Clément Marion installa la sua "Afghan Box" e invita tutti coloro che lo desiderano a venire a posare per un ritratto. Ognuno torna con la propria stampa d'argento, realizzata in loco grazie a questa sorprendente camera fotografica-laboratorio ereditata dal XIX secolo.
Utilizzando le tecniche fotografiche più antiche con un'interpretazione molto contemporanea, l'artista fa da ponte tra il mondo degli archivi fotografici e i volti e i paesaggi di oggi.

Pour inaugurer les commémorations du bicentenaire de la photographie dans les Yvelines, le photographe Clément Marion installe son "Afghan Box" et invite tous ceux qui le souhaitent à venir prendre la pose le temps d’un portrait. Chacun repart avec son propre tirage argentique, réalisé sur place grâce à cette étonnante chambre photographique-laboratoire héritée du XIXe siècle.
Maniant les techniques photographiques les plus anciennes avec une interprétation très contemporaine, l'artiste fait ainsi la passerelle entre le monde des archives photographiques et les visages et paysages d'aujourd'hui.

Para inaugurar las conmemoraciones del bicentenario de la fotografía en Yvelines, el fotógrafo Clément Marion instala su "Afghan Box" e invita a todos los que lo deseen a venir a posar durante un retrato. Cada uno vuelve con su propia impresión de plata, realizada en el lugar gracias a esta sorprendente cámara fotográfica-laboratorio heredada del siglo XIX.
Utilizando las técnicas fotográficas más antiguas con una interpretación muy contemporánea, el artista hace de esta manera la pasarela entre el mundo de los archivos fotográficos y los rostros y paisajes de hoy.
