From the very beginning of cinema, creative filmmakers have perceived the narrative and aesthetic potential of Lewis Carroll’s work "Alice in Wonderland". From the first adaptation in 1903, to the very spectacular films of Tim Burton, or the iconic animated version by Walt Dysney in 1951, countless adaptations of all kinds have emerged.
Four first film adaptations will be screened, for the Night of Museums, in full or in excerpts:
