This vast landscaped garden was created in 1930\. It is punctuated by a vegetation sometimes dense, sometimes clear, offering a generous nature to discover on sunny days on its lawns accessible to the public. A few beeches and a statue of Armand Martial «La Baigneuse» (1958) add to the charm of this neighborhood garden, which is invested by the children who have a large number of activities, structures to climb, intended both for children and adults, and a 480m² rollerblading track, composed of three modules such as «quarter launcher», «street table» and «slider». This garden was named in memory of the oath taken on March 2, 1941, after the capture of Koufra by General Leclerc. It stipulated that weapons would not be laid down until the French flag had flown over the cathedrals of Metz and Strasbourg.
