The Jean-Wiener Conservatory is composed of the so-called "old town hall" building of 1886 and a new building of the 21st century that embraces and enhances the architecture of the 19th century. These two architectures are of different construction techniques. In another complementary approach, what is understood, what is seen, what is learned and transmitted, through artistic learning at the conservatory or during concerts in the new auditorium, may constitute an intangible heritage ensemble, but very real, which is valued by the public. The conservatory is named after the composer Jean Wiener. As such, a small exhibition composed of his personal collection will be presented: posters of shows, scores, furniture, an essential heritage at the origin of the identity of the conservatory, of its creation in Bobigny.
