The JazzContreBand festival closes a month of jazz events at the Alhambra on October 29th. Nicolas Ziliotto trio & Strings will open for Rhoda Scott and his Lady All Stars.

JazzContreBand is a network of 34 venues spread over the two border countries, France and Switzerland, for more circulation between artists, venue staff and audiences.

At 83, Rhoda Scott has a lot of energy to spare. By founding the Lady Quartet, which has now become the Lady All Stars, the good fairy of the Hammond organ has left her mark on French jazz by offering one of its first high-flying 100% female formations. Alongside the fine flower of French blowers and a shock duo on drums,
the legendary organist delivers a delicious groovy jazz. A group of musicians who are also authors of multiple personal projects, experienced in the art of feeling, to be found on their first album.

Line-upRhoda Scott, orgue / Sophie Alour, sax ténor / Airelle Besson, trompette / Lisa Cat Bero, sax alto / Géraldine Laurent is replaced by Jeanne Michard sax alto / Céline Bonacina, sax baryton /Julie Saury, batterie (attention : Anne Paceo is not part of the show).
