The educational garden opens its doors exceptionally to make discover to the greatest number the secrets of the garden.
The animators take you on board to give you advice and deciphering ecological gardening. You can discover different themes such as gardening, biodiversity and agroecology. They will explain how they adapt to meet the challenges of climate change, between production and preservation of resources!
Around the discovery of fauna and flora you can spend a pleasant natural moment. Located right next to one of the metropolitan natural spaces, that is the park of Ile d'Amour, large and small can discover this particular garden.

The garden was created in 1975 and belongs to the Grenoble Alpes metropolis since 2005\. With an area of 1.7 hectares, this educational garden welcomes throughout the year school classes to make them discover gardening, but also what is an ecosystem. Gardening techniques used in the equipment are regularly reviewed to adapt to climate change and preserve resources. Species are selected to respect the site’s biodiversity and to participate in its development.
