The first half of the 20th century was the golden age of high-altitude climatic resorts and the emergence of the tourist poster. How was the medical discourse on the curative properties of high-altitude climates used to promote these resorts? A journey through posters.

Formerly in charge of Viaticalpes/Viatimanges, Daniela Vaj is currently a research associate at the Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche sur la montagne (CIRM-UNIL) and an affiliated member of the Institut des humanités en médecine (IHM-CHUV).
