The complete edition by Patrice Delpin (Droz, 2022) of the Journal (1600-1609) of Esaïe Colladon, professor of philosophy from 1594 to 1611, was the occasion to carry out an in-depth research on this character.
It led to the discovery of numerous physics theses, and other documents, shedding light on the teaching of physics and natural sciences in Geneva at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries.
