The Grand Moulins Library, a powerful testimony to the industrial architecture of the early 20th century

The former Grands Moulins de Paris, built between 1917 and 1921 by Georges Wybo, continued their milling activity until 1996.
After being rehabilitated and transformed into a university building by the firm of Rudy Ricciotti between 2004 and 2006, the Grands Moulins remain, in their outer shell, a powerful testimony of the industrial architecture of the early 20th century.
Today, the Grand Moulins Library, specialized in sciences, arts, letters, humanities and social sciences, is an integral part of the network of university libraries (18) and a museum of History of Medicine, attached to University Paris Cité.
