Ein Musik-Marathon quer durch Europa im Live-Stream und mit Multicast-Übertragung!
Wir alle wissen, dass dieser Sommer anders ist, aber die Musik findet den Weg, einen Akkord anzuschlagen und Optimismus und Neuanfänge zu wecken!
Auf Initiative der European Music Day Association, in Partnerschaft mit dem Griechischen Netzwerk für den Europäischen Musiktag und mit der Unterstützung des Hub for the Exchange of Innovation (HEMI), einem vom Kreativprogramm der Europäischen Union kofinanzierten Projekt, zum ersten Mal überhaupt, 12 europäische Städte - Athen, Berlin, Budapest, Bukarest, Krakau, Istanbul, Manchester, Mailand, Ljubljana, Lissabon, Prag und Skopje - werden ihre Kräfte bündeln, um Live-Musik-Events zu präsentieren, die von Amphitheatern, Dächern, Parks und Brücken auf dem ganzen Kontinent live übertragen werden!
Dieser 4-stündige Musik-Marathon wird live gestreamt in hoher Auflösung auf unserem Vimeo-Kanal, aber auch als Multicast auf FB, Twitter und YouTube übertragen, so dass jeder zuschauen kann, wo immer er gerade ist, sei es auf seinem Handy am Strand, auf seinem Laptop auf der Veranda oder auf seinem Fernseher, denn Musik soll gehört werden!
Mit Musikgenres von Jazz bis Pop, von Rock bis Funk und Techno werden wir geliebte Orte, legendäre Wahrzeichen oder unerwartete Orte besuchen, von der Schusterbrücke in Ljubljana bis zum Dach des Centre Français de Berlin oder den Gärten von Manchester, aus der Technopolis City in Athen, zu einem Showboat auf der Budapester Donau, von Bukarest zu den geheimen Gärten von Lissabon, vom prächtigen Krakau zum legendären Cross-Club in Prag und von einem Heimstudio in Mailand zum Zeitgenössischen Museum von Skopje und der einzigartigen Party auf einem Dach mit Blick auf den Bosporus in Istanbul!
Alle Veranstaltungen werden weltweit live über die digitalen Kanäle des European Music Day übertragen, so dass jeder diese mobile Musikfeier genießen kann, wo immer er auch ist!

A music marathon across Europe in live-streamed and with broadcast in multicast!
We all know this summer is different, but music finds the way to strike a chord and inspire optimism and new beginnings!
Following an initiative of European Music Day Association, in partnership with The Hellenic Network for the European Music Day and the support from the Hub for the Exchange of Innovation (HEMI), a project co-funded by the Creative Programme of the European Union, for the first time ever, 12 European cities - Athens, Berlin, Budapest, Bucharest, Cracow, Istanbul, Manchester, Milan, Ljubljana, Lisbon, Prague, and Skopje - will be joining forces to present live music events which will be livestreamed from amphitheatres, rooftops, parks and bridges all around the continent!
This 4-hour musical marathon will be live-streamed in high resolution from our Vimeo Channel, but also in multicast on FB, Twitter and YouTube, so that everyone can watch wherever they are, whether that’s on their mobile phone at the beach, their laptop at the veranda, or their TV set, because Music is meant to be heard!
With music genres ranging from Jazz to pop, from rock to funk and Techno, we will be visiting beloved places, legendary landmarks, or unexpected spots, from the Cobblers Bridge in Ljubljana to the rooftop of the Centre Français de Berlin or the gardens of Manchester, from Technopolis City of Athens Observatory to a showboat on Budapest’s Danube, from Bucharest to the secret gardens of Lisbon, from magnificent Krakow to the Legendary Cross-Club in Prague, and from a home studio in Milano to the Contemporary Museum of Skopje and the one-of-a-kind party on a rooftop overlooking Bosporus in Istanbul!
All the events will be live-streamed around the world via the digital channels of European Music Day, so everyone can enjoy this mobile musical celebration wherever they are!
