The vineyard(vine) and the wine in the region date Gallo-Roman time(period). In 1362, this vineyard produced "19 muyds", or about 43 hectolitres, a volume which they find today with three exceptional vatfuls which we realise in pedagogic title with the people in situation of disability of APEI of the Inhabitant of Valenciennes.
Workshops(Studios) of tasting of wines of the coteaux of the Scheldt, millésimés wines. During both opening days, tasting of the Vatful Watteau (red wine pulled(fired) by the grape variety Pinot noir), Slept off by the Lacemakers (white wine pulled(fired) by the grape variety Chardonnay(Chardonnays)), two monoskiing grape varieties converted into wine and raised(brought up) in Burgundian tradition, expression of a country(soil) of exception. This year will be a chance to taste(savour) our new rosé wine (wine coming from the grape variety Pinot noir).
You will have the possibility of visiting note cellar as well as the vineyard located in 20 minutes walk and accessible(approachable) by car.
