Pavés de la mémoire en hommage à la famille Gass
Hommage à la famille juive Gass
A partir de juin 2024, la municipalité de Changé, l'Association pour le Mémorial de la Déportation et Stolpersteine France rendent hommage à la famille juive Gass, arrêtée en juillet 1942 à Changé (Mayenne).
Jacques et ses parents, Hynoch et Rosa Gass ont été déportés à Auschwitz où ils furent assassinés en 1942.
Un hommage leur est rendu dans la commune avec la pose de 3 pavés de mémoire (Stolpersteine). Ces pavés sont visibles place d'Elva à Changé. Passants, souvenons-nous qu'ici habitait et a été arrêtée la famille Gass !
Les écoles (privée et publique) de la commune et le collège de secteur Jules Renard à Laval ont contribué à cet hommage par la réalisation de biographies, de lectures, de dessins.
