World Refugee Day is not enough!
Societies are the stories they tell themselves, and we are proud to be a diverse community of people, each one of us with an individual story. Our community navigates the landscape of Europe’s migrational past, present and future every day.
On June 21st we celebrate the ongoing struggle for respect and equality for all people by serving up an official Fete de la Musique stage with a line up as diverse as our community.
We are here and we are radical in our unity!

Antinational Embassy are a revolutionary musical force born out of the 2013 occupation of Ohlauerstraße and the resistance struggle at Oranienplatz. A powerful group of musicians from Africa, Europe and the Americas who use reggae, ska, rock and hip-hop to spread their crucial message of unity, liberation and equality.

Take the wit and grit of the New York-Berlin antifolk scene (Jeffrey Lewis, Moldy Peaches, The Burning Hell); add shameless pop harmonies, a touch of country and a saxophone solo.

Ben Osborn is a composer, poet and multi-instrumentalist. Channelling Leonard Cohen-esque balladry, Ben draws also from electronica, folk and 20th century art music. He has just released his debut album “Songs From The Border” to much critical acclaim. Ben is one of the coordinators of our beloved GSBTB Open Music Lab.

Okara
Smooth rap with a strong feminist message from an important player in Berlin’s rap scene. Okara (aka Valerie) is a long-time advocate for the empowerment of girls and young women in Berlin.

Gesellschaften leben von den Geschichten jedes Einzelnen und wir sind sehr stolz darauf, eine unglaublich vielfältige Community zu sein, jede/r von uns mit eigenen Geschichten. Unsere Community befasst sich tagtäglich mit der Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft von Migration in Europa.
Am 21. Juni feiern wir den andauernden Kampf für Respekt und Gleichheit für alle Menschen, indem wir eine offizielle Fete de la Musique-Bühne mit einer Line-up veranstalten, die so vielfältig ist wie unsere Gemeinschaft.
Wir halten zusammen und sind radikal in unserer Solidarität!
