Five years of metro/ Concert reading with Fred Alpi
Five years of metro - Fred Alpi
In 1989, Fred Alpi returned to Paris after spending several years in Berlin.
Without money, he finds a position in a communications agency. Very quickly, he resigns, and, to insure the rent, takes his guitar and goes down in the subway.
In 17 chapters, all bearing the title of a song by Brel, Dutronc, Piaf, etc., Fred Alpi takes us into the meanders of the Paris metro, where he rubs shoulders with a multitude of extraordinary beings. A series of stories and anecdotes that reflect the world as it is, with its dose of sexism, racism, sometimes solidarity, laughter and sadness.
Through this learning novel, the author gives us the story of a hectic life underground, with a good dose of humour, analysis and hope.
