Als einziger Zeuge der mittelalterlichen Vergangenheit von Boulogne ist die nach dem Wunsch von Philippe IV. le Bel erbaute Kirche auch für ihre gelehrte und poetische Restaurierung aus dem 19. Jahrhundert bemerkenswert. Seit Januar 2025 ist die älteste Kirche der Stadt eine Basilika, die erste in den Hauts-de-Seine.
