As part of its strategic reorientation, MEG has undertaken a decolonial process and wishes to reorient its museological strategy.
A series of conferences is proposed to provide insights into this issue. Anne Lafont, art historian, author of "L'art et la race : l'Africain (tout) contre l'oeil des Lumières" will discuss with Marie van Berchem, artist, creator of "La bateauthèque : savoirs en chantier", about decolonial thinking in relation to art, from the 18th century to the present day.
