Château de Bonnefontaine

The park of the Chateau de Bonnefontaine was designed by the famous landscapers Édouard André and Denis Bülher. You will find many tree species, some of which date back to the 19th century.
It is a unique opportunity to discover some rooms of the castle, listed in the Historical Monuments.

Castle builds in 1547, consisting of two joined buildings(ships), including each a ground floor and two floors. Attic are drilled of small windows Renaissance with stony crossing. Two round towers flank(throw) the main facade. A polygonal tower, connected(bound) with the roofing by a small circular turret, contains the staircase. The northeast tower would have been added to the 19th century. The front-door, in lowered bow(arc), placed near(about) the turret, is in numerous sculpted archings, added by a brace and flanked(thrown) by two pinacles adorned with hooks. The castle possessed in the past staves(moats), drawbridge and chapel, today disappeared.
