The Margaret Yourcenar museum is the only site in France devoted to the writer. He(It) found his(its) place in the old(former) city council of the village, destroyed in 1918 then rebuilt in Flemish style in the twenties. You will discover his(her,its) childhood passed(spent,crossed) in the family castle located in the Mount-black, the people who mattered(counted) in his life, his writer's route(course), his election to the Académie française, his commitment for nature conservation. Visit ends by a documentary in the life of the author.
