This annual event brings together comic book enthusiasts in original versions, American comic book readers translated into French, as well as many fans (big and small) of superheroes worn in recent years on big screen or in TV series.

The European Parliament has been very active in this area. The festival attracts many visitors from the metropolis of Lille, but also from the whole region (from the coast to Picardy) and from all over France.
The Roubaix Festival Comics is an exceptional opportunity to meet, over the course of a weekend, a new set of Anglo-Saxon and European authors, screenwriters and comic cartoonists, invited especially for this event. This festival is therefore an unprecedented opportunity to exchange with artists, to have their signatures or autographs signed
works, to buy imported and sometimes rare works, to buy custom designs on commission, rare lithographs and prints made exclusively for this event, or even original plates.
In a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, this event also offers numerous activities around superheroes (exhibitions, conferences, cosplay,
raffle), opens its doors to local artists, hosts bookstores specialized in comic books (based in the metropolis and long-standing partners), joins in heart initiatives (Wonder Augustine), mobilizes for important causes (this year, International Women’s Day).
Collectors or simple amateurs, all come together for this annual event, designed, organized and piloted by the association Art Thémis. In 2019, this event takes place for the first time in Roubaix. For this second edition roubaisienne, the RCF finds the beautiful Watremez room for the weekend of 7 and 8 March 2020.
The Roubaix Comics festival is therefore a pop and cultural event, of international scale (by the presence of authors), accessible to both comic book readers, fans of the comic universe, the fans of different graphic universes as well as the most demanding fans.
