Over the last 70 years, Europe has been a major geographic, political, cultural continent and union. Confusion and questions about the Continent, the Union and the Euro area are often raised with the actuality and the news.

This series of images aims to highlight, beyond cultural or ethnic divisions, the invisible ties that bind Europeans together and make it possible to perceive Europe not just as a union of distinct cultural entities, but above all as a coherent, deeply human, whole.

This Photographic Exhibition will not present you Europe in the political sense but will unveil a different vision of European Union based on two keywords:
- Singularities: From Reykjavik to Nicosia, each region or country has many individual characteristics. Whether expressed in physical features, a way of dressing, local lore or some other sociological manifestation, these divergences are the touches of colour that make the European continent so unique.
- Elements of unity: To avoid a tourist-guide approach, Pascal Dosset has also presented universal images. In this way, with photos such children playing in Vaduz and the affectionate Finnish grandfather, the work seeks to prove that human feelings crisscross the continent south and north, irrespective of administrative and geographic borders.

Pascal Dosset - The Author

Born in 1978 and graduated in audiovisual and economics, law, finance and taxation, Pascal Dosset, in addition to his work as a photographer, created his communication company in 2010. Since 2018, he has been teaching this field and marketing at the university.

At the same time, Pascal Dosset devotes part of his time to travelling the world to produce a photographic work "Memories of the World", an extension of the current series. An inveterate and tireless nomad, he likes to flee the escapades of the sensational to represent a more objective world and closer, according to him, to our deepest aspirations
