Following the motto “A place at the royal table”, on 23 June, Royal Residences all over Europe open their gardens for visitors to gather for a joint open-air event, a European Picnic.
The Foundation of Prussian Palaces and Gardens Berlin-Brandenbrug and the Music Festival Potsdam Sanssouci invite you to have a seat at a 270-metre-long "royal" table beneath the beautiful Orangery Palace Terraces in Park Sanssouci. Take your picnic basket with you and enjoy your delicacies while listening to exquisite music from baroque and folk to sunny Mediterranean sounds.
Share your favourite picnic recipe! Send it with a picture to zutisch@spsg.de. From 16th June your recipes are published at www.spsg.de/zutisch. 3x2 tickets for the closing concert and 3 copies of the (German) book "Pracht und Idylle: Eine Bilderreise durch Schlösser und Gärten in Deutschland" will be raffled among the participants.
