On vous attend le 27 juin pour fêter 2 ans de scènes ouvertes, de collaborations, de voyages, et surtout de magnifiques artistes et de public bienveillant !

Self-ish est une scène ouverte meufs, personnes trans et non-binaires (http://www.barbieturix.com/2016/05/31/self-ish-la-premiere-scene-ouverte-feministe/) lancée à Paris en mai 2016. Pourquoi ? Parce qu'il est grand temps que nous ayons un espace pour nous exprimer et partager nos expériences.
N'importe qui peut assister à la scène ouverte mais le micro est réservé aux femmes et aux personnes trans et non-binaires (voir Q&A).
Donc venez et partagez votre poésie, chanson, danse ou autre performance: soyons Self-ish !

☞ Que veulent dire le terme trans et non-binaire ?
Une personne trans est une personne dont le genre et le sexe qui lui a été attribué à la naissance ne coïncident pas. La non-binarité est un parapluie d’identités diverses : agenre, neutrois, genderfluid, bigenre, entre autres. A l'opposé, une personne cisgenre est une personne dont le genre et le sexe qui lui a été attribué à la naissance coïncident.

Self-ish is a women, trans and non-binary open mic launched in Paris in May 2016. Why? Because it’s about time we have a space of our own to express our-selves and share our stories.
Anyone is invited to attend but the mic is exclusively open to women, trans and non-binary folk (anyone who doesn't identify as cisgender - see Q&A).
This space is wheelchair accessible!
So come along and share your poetry, songs, craft, prose or performance: let’s be Self-ish!

☞ What do the terms trans and/or non-binary mean?
A person who identifies as trans is a person whose gender identity and the sex they were assigned at birth do not match up. Someone who identifies as non-binary is a person whose gender identity is defined as being neither "male" or "female," they might use other terms to define themselves such as genderqueer, genderfluid, agender, and more. A cisgender (or "cis") person is someone whose sex they were assigned and gender identity match up.
